When Coroventis, a company that works with clinical research and advanced training in cardiovascular diseases, was looking for new premises, it was clear that it was not just about a physical location. For Johan, the whole was important:
"The most important thing for us was to end up in a creative environment where there is innovation power and a vibrant exchange between people and companies," he says.
A place where the environment inspires
The choice fell on Green Innovation Park in Uppsala – a campus area that combines nature, proximity and innovation.
"Here we get both the green and the urban. We are surrounded by beautiful paths, close to both the river and parks, but at the same time it is easy to reach us via public transport, bicycle or car. This makes it easy for both staff and partners," says Johan.
The fact that the business is part of a context where sustainability and innovation are at the center is something he values highly.
Flexible premises that grow with the company
The premises in the Green Innovation Park have given Coroventis the flexibility they need.
"They are bright, large and can be adapted to our needs. We have moved walls, changed doors – which has enabled a completely customized working environment. It is really a premises that we have to shape according to our business, not the other way around," says Johan.
Coroventis works internationally with both research and continuing education for doctors and hospital staff. Much of the work takes place digitally, but the physical meeting is still important. The premises therefore function both as a workplace, meeting place and sometimes even as a studio.
Networking, breakfasts and new energy
But it's not just the premises that make a difference. The social and professional environment is something Johan highlights in particular.
"The campus feeling out here is fantastic. We participate in network breakfasts and have meetings with other companies. It creates new contacts, collaborations and energy in everyday life. It feels like we are part of something bigger.
Coroventis' vision is to improve the treatment and evaluation of cardiovascular diseases globally. They do this by combining medical expertise with innovation and education – a work that will now have even better conditions in Green Innovation Park.
