Anitra Steen steps down as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Akademiska Hus
Thursday, 16 March 2023Anitra Steen took over as chairperson of the Board of Directors for Akademiska Hus in 2016.
“It has been an exciting time in the company. Akademiska Hus has made great strides in the transition to a more sustainable society, with a focus on climate change. We have also implemented a number of projects across the country to develop campuses and strengthen the continued development of higher education institutions,” says Anitra Steen.
With a property value of SEK 115 billion, Akademiska Hus is one of Sweden’s largest property companies, which together with colleges and universities, strives to strengthen Sweden as a nation of knowledge by building, developing and managing environments for education, research and innovation. The company is owned by the Swedish State and approximately 320,000 people work, study and carry out research every day in buildings that are managed by Akademiska Hus.
A new chairperson for Akademiska Hus will be elected at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 26 April in Stockholm. The nomination process is expected to be completed shortly.
