As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Akademiska Hus is taking various measures to reduce the spread of infection and deal with situations that could affect both our own and our customers’ businesses. Of course, this is a highly unusual and unfortunate situation. We ask for your understanding and hope we can find ways to cooperate in order to reach solutions together.

Visiting our offices

To help limit the spread of the virus, we have placed restrictions on receiving external visitors at our offices. If you need to contact us, please use email or telephone.

If you need to pick up keys, keycards, parking permits, etc., please contact us in advance by email or telephone so that we can arrange the best way to hand them over.

For tenants

We are taking various local measures to keep our operations and services running. We are continuously monitoring the situation and revising our action plans in order to adapt our operations to your needs. For this reason, it is important that we all cooperate. We are available to work with you on preventing and handling different situations.

Some of our current projects may be affected and schedules may change. This also applies to new projects and development initiatives. We will endeavour to use digital meetings as much as possible in our projects.

Akademiska Hus is continuously following the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Sweden and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and is updating our internal guidelines accordingly. This regards, among other issues, the question of whether our employees should stay at home if they have flu symptoms.

We will visit buildings less frequently and restrict one-to-one meetings. Meanwhile, we will remain available for digital meetings via the internet, telephone or email. We will also use digital technology for the running of our properties.

Tenants who have recently been in any of the risk areas indicated by the Public Health Agency of Sweden should cancel any booked appointments they have with Akademiska Hus, and the same applies to tenants displaying symptoms of the illness.

If you need to contact any of us, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Changed activities in our premises

We have been impressed by the way several of our customers have quickly switched to remote learning and are contributing their knowledge and cutting-edge expertise for the benefit of the community.
