User Terms and Conditions for My Campus
1. General
1.1 Akademiska Hus Aktiebolag, company registration number 556459–9156, (“Akademiska Hus”, “we”, “our” or “us”) provides a service (“My Campus”) through login at www.akademiskahus.se (“My Pages”) and through an application (“the App”).
1.2 Through My Campus, we offer you, the user, a better experience of your campus and help to make your everyday life easier. You can choose to use My Campus either by registering for an account or without using an account. In My Campus we gather all the information we think you need, and you can choose which campus and which buildings you want to receive information about. Based on your choices, we create a personal feed for you that includes up-do-date information, maps, contact details, services, news, and alerts about disruptions that could affect your daily life. In My Campus you can also log service requests relating to your campus, which you can easily track and give feedback on.
1.3 These general terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply when you i) register for an account and use My Campus by logging in to My Pages or in the App; or ii) when you use My Campus in the App without registering for an account. You accept the Terms and Conditions by creating an account or by downloading the App. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you agree to comply with them when using My Campus. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you guarantee that you understand the Terms and Conditions, that you agree to comply with them, and that the information you provide is valid and correct.
1.4 If you represent a legal person, you accept the Terms and Conditions both on your own behalf and on the behalf of said legal person. You also guarantee that you have a right to accept the Terms and Conditions on the legal person’s behalf.
1.5 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Akademiska Hus regarding the use of My Campus, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Registration of account
2.1 You choose whether to register for an account in order to use My Campus. Registering for an account to use My Campus means that:
- you can save the choices and settings you make for My Campus, such as your preferred language, your campus and your favourite building;
- you can save your favourite contacts;
- you get customised information about your campus and your favourite buildings; and
- you can track and see a history of the service requests you have logged.
2.2 You must be at least 16 years of age to register for an account and use My Campus through this account. If you are under 16, you need the consent of a parent or guardian in order to register for an account.
2.3 To register for an account to use My Campus, you must register your name, email address and password.
2.4 Only one (1) account is allowed per user.
2.5 You agree to ensure that nobody except you can use your login credentials. You may not disclose your password to unauthorised persons, and you must ensure that all documents disclosing your user name (e-mail address) and password are stored in such a way that unauthorised persons cannot access them. You must immediately change your password or notify Akademiska Hus if you suspect that your login credentials could have been accessed by unauthorised persons.
3. User requirements, etc.
3.1 You are responsible for ensuring that My Campus is not used in any way that is illegal or causes damage or inconvenience to others. Akademiska Hus complies with Swedish law and has the right to remove content that is in any way inappropriate or illegal.
3.2 Provided you comply with these Terms and Conditions, Akademiska Hus will give you a global, non-exclusive, perpetual right to view and use My Campus on a device that you own or control.
3.3 If Akademiska Hus suspects that your account or login credentials are being misused or in any other way violate the Terms and Conditions, Akademiska Hus will have the right to block your account. If you have an account, Akademiska Hus has the right to issue you with new login credentials, regardless of the reason. If it transpires that you are using My Campus in breach of these Terms and Conditions, you will be liable to compensate Akademiska Hus for all reasonable costs and expenses associated with such misuse.
3.4 You may deregister your account and uninstall the App at any time.
4. Maintenance and support, etc.
4.1 Akademiska Hus aims to keep My Campus free from technical disruptions. However, we cannot guarantee that this will always be possible. In light of this, we may need to limit access to My Campus for purposes of maintenance, support or security, or for technical reasons.
4.2 If you experience any problems with My Campus or are in any other way dissatisfied, please contact Akademiska Hus as soon as possible. Our contact details are specified below under Clause 11. Akademiska Hus always aims to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
4.3 You are responsible for protecting your technical equipment from unauthorised use. This includes a duty to use suitable antivirus software and firewalls.
5. Special Terms and Conditions for users of the App
5.1 The App is free of charge to download and use.
5.1 You can download the App via App Store or Google Play Store. In App Store and Google Play Store, there are terms and conditions that require you, as a user of the App, to meet separate terms and conditions towards Apple Inc. and Google LLC, respectively (“the App Terms and Conditions”). In the event of conflict between the App Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions, the App Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
5.2 You accept that the Terms and Conditions only apply between you and Akademiska Hus and not between you and Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Akademiska Hus is solely responsible for the App and its content.
5.3 You certify that Akademiska Hus is solely responsible, under the Terms and Conditions, for meeting all demands from you or other parties regarding the App or your possession and/or use of the App.
5.4 You certify that Apple Inc. or Google LLC, as the case may be, has no obligations to provide maintenance and support in relation to the App. In the event of malfunction or performance problems, please contact Akademiska Hus directly using the contact details specified below.
5.5 If you download the App via App Store, the following Terms and Conditions also apply:
a) You accept that Akademiska Hus, and not Apple Inc., is solely responsible for the App and its content.
b) You accept that your right to use the App only entitles you to use the App in Mac products that you own or control, and in accordance with App Store’s user terms and conditions.
c) You certify that Akademiska Hus is solely responsible under these Terms and Conditions for any claims, losses, damage claims, damage, expenses or costs arising from any failure to honour guarantees, with exception for any guarantees issued by Apple Inc. Akademiska Hus is also responsible for claims regarding product liability, consumer protection laws and other applicable laws.
d) You agree that if a third party claims that the App violates his or her intellectual property rights, Akademiska Hus, and not Apple Inc., shall be solely responsible under these Terms and Conditions for investigating, defending, settling and eliminating all such intellectual property rights claims.
e) You certify that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States Government as a terrorist-supporting country; and that (ii) you are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
f) Moreover, you agree, in addition to complying with App Store’s user terms and conditions, to comply with any applicable contract terms and conditions imposed by third parties in connection with use of the App.
g) You certify that Apple Inc. has the right to become a party to the Terms and Conditions, and has a right to enforce the Terms and Conditions against you as an authorised third party.
6. Intellectual property rights
6.1 My Campus, My Pages and the App and all intellectual property rights associated therewith are, and will always remain, Akademiska Hus’ exclusive property, with all rights reserved. You have no right to or interest in My Campus, My Pages or the App or the intellectual property rights associated therewith, except for what is expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions.
6.2 The content of My Campus, My Pages and the App may not be used to a greater extent than is necessary to enable you to use My Campus in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and in the intended way.
7. Personal data
Akademiska Hus is the Data Controller for the processing of your personal data relating to My Campus. Information about Akademiska Hus’ personal data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
Akademiska Hus’ liability is limited to what is required under mandatory law.
9. Agreement period, termination and amendments
9.1 These Terms and Conditions will come into effect the first time you log in using your My Campus account or download the App, and will remain effective until you deregister your account or uninstall the App.
9.2 Akademiska Hus has the right to amend the Terms and Conditions. The latest version of the Terms and Conditions is published on My Pages and in the App. Amendments will become effective when you accept the Terms and Conditions (when you log in to My Campus) or 30 days after Akademiska Hus has notified you about the amendments. You will have the right to terminate your account and/or uninstall the App immediately after becoming aware of such amendments.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1 Akademiska Hus has the right to develop, expand, reduce or otherwise modify My Campus’ design, technical specifications, system or other functions.
10.2 If any provision of the Terms and Conditions should, in whole or in part, be found to be invalid, this will not invalidate the Terms and Conditions in their entirety, and all other parts of the Terms and Conditions will remain valid to the extent permitted under mandatory law.
10.3 Akademiska Hus has the right to transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions without your written consent.

12. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms and Conditions are subject to Swedish law. Disputes or claims regarding the interpretation or application of these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in a Swedish court of law.
