Akademiska Hus is a contracting authority

The ruling concerns a case in which the Swedish Competition Authority initiated proceedings in September 2012 requesting that Akademiska Hus be ordered to pay a public procurement fine for a general construction project regarding the new Skogishuset on the Umeå Campus. The decision by the Supreme Administrative Court means that Akademiska Hus must pay a public procurement fine of SEK 3 million and that from now on all company purchases must be procured under LOU.
