Campus Solna - Karolinska

AWL Innomedicum offers both private lab rooms or lab benches in shared premises with their own office premises nearby. All members get free access to wifi, coffee and printers. You also become part of our community and can take part in the events that are organized in the premises. In addition, membership in KI Science Park is included. As a member of AWL Innomedicum, you automatically also get access to all AWL's environments.

The environments work just like a regular office, but also offer something extra, such as unexpected meetings and inspiration. All A Working Labs are located on or adjacent to the university campus, which makes it easier for researchers, students, business and society to meet. We encourage all members to take advantage of the opportunity for collaboration and development of the common workplace. Suggestions for activities and initiatives that inspire people to do things together with others are welcome.

There are several meeting rooms for both the large and the slightly smaller meeting or event. For example, there is an open lounge environment, conference rooms with their own kitchenette and a larger auditorium with seating for up to 70 people as well as several smaller modern meeting rooms fully equipped for your meeting.

As a member of AWL Innomedicum, you automatically also get access to all AWL's environments in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Umeå.

AWL Innomedicum offers both private lab rooms or lab benches in shared premises with their own office premises nearby. The environments are equipped with fume cupboards, lab benches, LAF benches, fridge and freezer and more. In addition, all members share equipment in a so-called general lab. It offers a wide variety of lab equipment, such as pipettes, heating cabinets, centrifuges, GENUINE instruments and PCR. All members have access to functions such as a clean water system, dishwasher and hazardous waste management.

Together with our partners, we arrange many events. You are welcome to everything from seminars, fructose meetings to after work and lunch training. As a member, you automatically become a member of KI Science Park's network. You will also be part of A Working Lab's community, locally and nationally.

Campus Solna is located where Stockholm meets Solna through the major urban development project Hagastaden, which upon completion will contain over 6,000 homes and 50,000 workplaces. Here, education, research and business work in close collaboration and form a unique foundation for a world-class life science cluster. There are also several restaurants, food trucks and lovely green areas with, among other things, a boules court right next door.

It is easy to travel by public transport by bus to and from Campus Solna. Stop Karolinska Sjukhuset Eugeniavägen, bus lines 3 and 6. The nearest metro station is Odenplan with a 10-minute walking distance, even the bus (line 6) takes you there.
