With public transport, the subway's blue line towards Akalla, the commuter train to Helenelund, which is within walking distance, or a passing bus line applies. Parking information in Stockholm

From 1 January 2026, Smart Parkering AB will be responsible for parking at Akademiska Hus parking areas in Stockholm. Parking is managed digitally via the SmartPark app or text message. Employees can purchase digital parking permits with a reduced rate via a code provided by their own business. Visitors and students park by purchasing a ticket per hour or day in the app or via text message.

When does the transition take place?

The digital parking permits will be valid from January 1, 2026 and can be purchased from December 1, 2025. Physical permits are valid during a transition period until January 31, 2026 and will then expire.
 

How much does it cost to park?

The following prices apply from 1 January 2026 at Akademiska Hus parking spaces in Stockholm:

• Visitors and students: 25 SEK per hour (one-time parking), regardless of time of purchase.
• Employees of Akademiska Hus customers: 70 SEK for ground parking (does not apply to garages) at a reduced rate. Valid 24 hours a day and every day of the week.
• Monthly subscription: Price varies depending on parking area and is shown in the SmartPark app.

How do employees get a reduced rate?

Digital parking permits are purchased via Smart Parkering using a code provided by the respective business. The code is only valid for employees of Akademiska Hus customers.
