The climate is changing and we are taking action

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. There is no doubt that we, as property owners, have changed conditions to relate to, in the short and long term. Identifying, assessing, managing and transparently accounting for the business's climate-related risks and opportunities is therefore important to us.

100% resilient buildings by 2040

Our goal is to reach 100 percent resilient buildings against climate risks by 2040. We continuously identify the vulnerability and vulnerability of our buildings. This gives us an overall picture of our overall climate risk level and the priorities that need to be made. According to our goal, all buildings should be classified as having a low, or very low, climate risk level by 2040.

Biodiversity a key issue

Climate change adaptation and biodiversity are closely interconnected areas that reinforce each other. By integrating ecosystem-based solutions into our climate adaptation work – such as green roofs, rain beds and preserved green spaces – we both strengthen the resilience of our buildings to extreme weather and contribute to promoting biodiversity.

A robust ecosystem acts as a buffer against climate-related risks, while creating value for both people and nature. Our work on climate adaptation is therefore not only based on technical solutions, but also on nature-based strategies that contribute to a more resilient and sustainable society.
