About Kemicentrum
The Chemistry Centre building complex consists of four different buildings where world-class chemistry research and education are conducted. The idea is to gather researchers from different fields and specialisations under the same roof in order to be able to understand, explain and improve our world. With its location in the northern university area, it is located in the heart of the Öresund region.
The Chemistry Centre has a total of about 40,000 square metres at its disposal and is home to three different departments. Building 1 was renovated between 2004-2008 with modern lab and office premises. During 2009-2011, the same thing was done in building 3.
