Måltidens Hus
Måltidens Hus is a centre for food, drink and meal knowledge where Örebro University conducts education and research. The building, which originally represented Sweden at the 1992 World Expo in Seville, has a unique roof adorned with the Northern Lights by artist Gösta Wessel, and combines the shape of a Mediterranean palace with a Swedish barn. In 1994, the pavilion was moved from Spain to Campus Grythyttan in Bergslagen, where it was rebuilt.

About Måltidens Hus
Måltidens Hus is a centre for food, drink, and the art of dining. The building houses two different organisations with distinct operations. Örebro University offers higher education and conducts research in culinary arts.
In 1992, during the World Expo in Seville, Måltidens Hus represented Sweden in Spain. The pavilion, with its uniquely designed ceiling adorned with an aurora borealis by artist Gösta Wessel, features a roof formation intended to resemble a Mediterranean palace meeting a Swedish barn. Before the house's inauguration in 1994, it was relocated from Spain to Bergslagen, where it was reassembled on Campus Grythyttan.
