Entrétorget at Campus Solna

At the intersection of Nobels väg and Solnavägen, Akademiska Hus is developing Entrétorget – a new, welcoming public space that strengthens Campus Solna’s identity and its role as a hub for research, education and innovation in life science.

About the project

Campus Solna is an important part of the growing Hagastaden district and an area where many people move through every day. Entrétorget is being developed to strengthen the overall campus experience – both for those who are here daily and for new visitors.

The project will improve connections between the campus and the new underground station in Hagastaden. At the same time, it will create a place that is easier to navigate and use in everyday life, with better conditions for movement and informal meetings.

The project

  • Construction start: 2025
  • Completion: 2026
  • Campus: Solna

A clearer entrance to the campus and Hagastaden

A key part of the project is to establish Entrétorget as Campus Solna’s natural point of arrival. With a more considered design and clear routes, it will be easier to find your way between campus buildings and towards Hagastaden.

The square will provide a first impression of Campus Solna – a place that reflects quality, long-term thinking and openness, and that strengthens the campus’s role at the meeting point between the campus and the city.

From passage to place

Today, the area is mainly used as a route through the campus. Entrétorget will instead be shaped into a clearer place with its own identity and purpose.

By bringing together spaces and flows in a more coherent way, it will better support everyday movement – and create room for spontaneous encounters. Entrétorget will be a place to pause, not just pass through.
