When you are in an area under video surveillance, we process certain personal data about you.

Why

Legal basis

Your image, and in some cases, your vehicle’s license plate number.

We process your personal data in order to:

achieve the purpose of our video surveillance, which is to prevent, deter, and detect crime or vandalism.
We may also process your personal data if we receive a request from a Swedish law enforcement authority to disclose recorded surveillance footage.
In exceptional cases, we may disclose recorded surveillance footage to other external parties, but only after a thorough legal assessment in consultation with our legal department, and only if the external requester has a legitimate purpose for their request.

We base our processing of your personal data on a legitimate interest assessment in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as it is necessary for us to process your personal data in order to achieve the purpose of our video surveillance.
