The background to the Håll Nollan security push is to send a strong and unison signal within the industry. By highlighting good examples of the exchange of experience and collaboration, Akademiska Hus, together with Håll Nollan, wants to show that collaboration across borders provides safer workplaces.
" Thinking ahead is an easy way to make a big difference – for security here and now, but also for the future. Small decisions in everyday life can mean that we all get to go home safe and sound after work. Through our membership in Håll Nollan and this type of event, we constantly raise the issue on the agenda so that we can work actively together with our contractors and partners," says Ali Ranji, Project Director at Akademiska Hus.
The Safety Push, which is being arranged for the sixth year in a row, is a complement to the other safety days that exist in the industry. Håll Nollan is a collaborative association with about 100 members from the construction and civil engineering industry and has, during the more than eight years that the association has been active, developed work environment standards and guides and a developer training that has been developed through collaboration between the members.
"To be able to make real change, we need to collaborate and help each other. Alone is not strong when it comes to the work environment! By listening to each other, communicating across borders and making sure to 'think ahead', we can build a good safety culture," says Ulrika Dolietis, CEO of Håll Nollan.
Akademiska Hus is one of the founders of Håll Nollan has participated in the security push every year since it was introduced in 2020. This year, we are participating with around 20 projects around Sweden as well as several of our local offices.
