Campus information
A five-minute walk from Götaplatsen is Campus Johanneberg. There are about 12,000 Chalmers students here and most of Chalmers' research. The University of Gothenburg also conducts some education on campus. There are also several knowledge-intensive companies that conduct business in symbiosis with Chalmers. Campus Chalmers has a strong union spirit and is a vibrant campus at all hours of the day.

The area and buildings
The properties at Chalmers are owned by Akademiska Hus, Emils Kårhus and Chalmersfastigheter. The latest addition to the campus is the AWL building with premises for business and research linked to the built environment. The building also has a Learning Lab that can be booked externally and coworking with access to several different types of memberships.
Campus Johanneberg is close to recreation in the form of outdoor gyms and nice walking trails. In Sven's garden there are edible plantings and seating areas for both studies and meetings or just a break.
