Generally

In order to obtain good air quality in the premises, the ventilation is adapted to the number of people and the equipment planned for the rooms.

Several ventilation units supply different parts of the house.

Parts C & D have round-the-clock ventilation depending on fume cupboards and chemical cupboards. About 200 hoods.

Part A & B have times for ventilation adapted to the activity. Individual room regulation is available for most offices within part A & B via a room regulator placed inside the door or in the window sill channel. If the switch is turned to plus, it will be warmer and if it is turned to minus, it will be colder. In the other premises in parts A & B, the temperature is regulated via the Operation Monitoring System.

The A-corridor has an overtime timer so the tenant can extend the operating hours themselves.

Car parking

Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a handicap permit are available adjacent to the house.

Entrances and lifts

The entrances are accessible and all floors can be reached via lift.

RWC and rest room

Toilets adapted for the disabled are available on every floor (not level 1). In rest rooms and at the RWC there are security alarms with red push buttons labeled "emergency signal". Alarms are indicated locally by sound and a red flashing light outside each room. It is important that you who see and hear this alarm contact the person concerned who needs help. The security alarm is forwarded to the security guard. Alarms are reset inside each room by pressing the reset button.

Automatic fire alarm with smoke and heat detectors.

Evacuation alarm. Evacuation alarms in case of fire are triggered via smoke and heat detectors.

You can manually trigger the evacuation alarm using push buttons in connection with the escape routes.

Sprinklers are available with the exception of corridor A and level 1.

Fixed fire hydrants are available.

Fire extinguishers are available.

Alarm devices, smoke hatches, fire gas fans and smoke evacuation wells are available.

Escape routes / Assembly point

The stairwells form independent escape routes. Two stairwells can be reached from each workplace. The escape routes, which are marked with green luminous escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have a battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power cut.

Doors in fire compartment boundaries must absolutely not be blocked by wedges or the like!

Presence-controlled lighting in the culvert, switches off when absent.

Absence-controlled lighting in premises for part A & B, turns on when present, does not apply to offices.

Presence control in remodeled parts of the A-corridor, switches off in case of absence.

Other general lighting is time controlled via Operation Monitoring System and push buttons.

Exterior lighting is controlled via a control system. The B building supplies a large number of exterior lighting fixtures in the area.
