Campus Luleå
In the IU and V pavilions there are classrooms and method rooms.
Error report:
Is something wrong in the house?
The easiest way to report an error is via the "Mitt campus" app or on the Akademiska Hus website. Enter any room number when reporting a fault. The room number is indicated on the door post.
In case of urgent errors, call 010-557 24 00. The phone number can be called 24 hours a day.
The house is equipped with a central locking system with a card reader. When exiting through locked doors, press the button with the key symbol located next to the door.
Lighting:
The lighting in the offices is switched on and off via a switch next to the door.
On the power switch there is a small red LED light that lights up when the power is on.
ATTENTION! These switches have a touch function, which means that it will not click and that repeated presses will reset the Power Switch.
Electricity:
Power to the outlet is supplied from an electrical center with a flip-flop fuse, in case of problems with the outlet, contact Akademiska Hus error report and state the room number.
Heat
The house has a heating system with electric radiators on the outer walls. If it is cold in the room, check the thermostat on the element before reporting a fault.
The heat is controlled by the outside temperature and the room thermostat. This means that the heat on the radiators varies with the outside temperature and the temperature in the room.
Office paper, newspapers and magazines are sorted locally in the house.
Other rubbish is left in waste rooms where bins for source sorting are located.
The nearest waste room is at entrance F18.
Akademiska Hus is responsible for emptying and cleaning the waste rooms.
Tenants themselves are responsible for receiving goods and removing bulky waste, pallets, packaging and electronics/data.
Fire
A fire alarm is installed in the building and the alarm goes directly to the emergency services (112).
If the fire alarm goes off, evacuate the house according to posted signs and evacuation plans.
Fire doors set up with magnets close automatically in case of an alarm to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
SCARED - WARN - ALARM - EXTINGUISH
• save yourself and others around you, but don't take too many risks yourself
• warn others who may be in danger
• alert the Emergency Services by calling 112
• put out the fire if possible
Fire sectioned doors in corridors and towards escape routes that are not set up with magnets connected to the fire alarm must always be kept closed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
Escape routes / Assembly point
See evacuation plans in corridors.
The stairwells form independent escape routes. Two stairwells can be reached from each workplace. The escape routes, which are marked with green, luminous escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have a battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power cut.
If the fire alarm is triggered, all personnel must leave the building, close all doors behind them and gather at the assembly point (See the respective evacuation plan). The staff reports there to the evacuation recipient and leaves their name and group affiliation or equivalent. No one may depart from the assembly point until this is done.
Flammable equipment
Installation of flammable equipment or setting up gas cylinders with flammable gases may only take place after contacting Akademiska Hus, which in turn has a duty to notify the fire service.
As a user, you are responsible for gas bottles being labeled and fire extinguishing equipment required for the business being procured.
Person and elevator alarms
Emergency signals are available in lifts, disabled toilets and rest rooms.
Lifts: The lift alarms are forwarded by telephone to the alarm center which receives calls around the clock. When the push button inside the elevator is held down for more than 15 seconds, a signal sounds outside the door and the alarm goes on to the alarm center.
RWC and Vilrum: The emergency alarm is forwarded to Akademiska Hus during the day, after regular working hours the alarm goes to the property emergency
Coverage
Remember to lock your room when it is empty and not to keep things that are prone to theft in the room.
At night, the building is guarded by security guards.
If you see people you don't know, ask who they are and what they are doing on the premises. Be prepared to show identification if you are staying on the premises.
Generally
In order to obtain good air quality in the premises, the ventilation is adapted to the number of people and the equipment planned for the rooms. To provide heat and prevent frostbite, there are radiators located along facade walls.
Extended operating time
After regular office hours, i.e. in the evening and on weekends, the ventilation in the building is switched off to reduce the environmental impact. The ventilation can be started manually again via a push button in the corridor, the ventilation then continues for the set time.
Car parking
Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a handicap permit can be found close to the entrance.
Entrances and lifts
The entrances are accessible and all floors can be reached via lift.
RWC and rest room
Toilets adapted for the disabled are available on each floor. In rest rooms and at the RWC there are security alarms with red push buttons labeled "emergency signal". Alarms are indicated locally by sound and a red flashing light outside each room. It is important that you who see and hear this alarm contact the person concerned who needs help. Alarms are reset inside each room by pressing the reset button.
