Road closures in connection with the Future Campus Luleå
As of May 1, 2026, Geogränd will be closed and groundworks will begin. The work includes, among other things, the closure of sewage pipes. Dialogue is ongoing with the affected businesses regarding the implementation.
On June 1, 2026, the thoroughfare on Laboratorievägen will be permanently closed to public traffic. The closure is a prerequisite for Akademiska Hus to be able to carry out earthworks, reroute underground pipes and construct new technical infrastructure and new buildings in the area. During the spring, we will have a dialogue with businesses along Laboratorievägen to determine how the work will affect their operations.
