Waste disposal
The building's recycling room on floor 1 is shared by all tenants.
Akademiska Hus provides fractional containers for recycling and is responsible for handling household waste. The tenants are responsible for other fractions, receiving goods and transporting away packaging.
Generally
In order to obtain good air quality in the premises, the ventilation is adapted to the number of people and the equipment planned for the rooms. During very hot summer days, the indoor temperature is allowed to rise slightly.
Radiators are used to counteract cold weather. Some radiators can be regulated manually.
Remember that opening windows creates an imbalance in the room climate.
In the dance studio and circus hall, the room is heated automatically via underfloor heating with a preset temperature.
In the theoretical room, the ventilation is controlled automatically via carbon dioxide and temperature sensors. This means that the temperature is automatically adjusted according to the number of people and equipment in the room.
The ventilation in the workshop's fume hood and point extraction is started manually via a push button.
Lighting in corridors and stairwells is controlled automatically via timers. After the set time, the lighting can be switched on via push buttons.
Around the clock, a few luminaires are always on per floor in stairwells and corridors, so-called led lighting.
In the theory hall, group rooms, dance studios, circus hall and foyer, the lighting is switched on and off automatically via presence detectors. The lighting can also be dimmed via spring-loaded push buttons on the wall. Switch on and off with a short press of a button and adjust the light with a long press of a button.
Lighting in the rest room and massage room is switched on and off manually via a push button. The lighting can also be dimmed via spring-loaded push buttons.
The lighting in the teacher's room is switched on and off via presence detectors.
Evacuation alarm in case of fire
The building has smoke detectors that automatically trigger an evacuation alarm in case of fire smoke. In the premises of the Dance and Circus Academy, the signal to evacuate is given via the siren and red flashing light.
In the event of a fire, call 112, as the evacuation alarm is not forwarded to the Rescue Service.
You can manually trigger the alarm yourself using push buttons in escape routes. Limit the source of the fire by closing windows and doors.
The lift must not be used in the event of a fire.
In the event of a fire, blackout curtains go up and windows are opened for fire gas ventilation of the circus hall.
