Error report:
Is there something wrong with your house? Report a fault to Akademiska Hus via the app or on our website. Please include your room number when reporting a fault. The room number is listed on the doorpost.
In case of emergency problems outside of regular working hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), you can call the emergency number 070-510 10 02.
Locking:
The building is equipped with a time-controlled central locking system. Outside of regular working hours, a pass card with a code is required for access.
When exiting through locked doors, press the button with the key symbol located next to the door. Also make sure the door locks.
There are separate containers for waste sorting in the building's garbage room/environment room. Akademiska Hus is responsible for emptying the garbage room. The tenant is responsible for removing bulky waste, pallets and larger packaging.
The following sorting:
- Paper
- Corrugated cardboard/Cardboard
- Colored and uncolored glass
- Metal
- Plastic packaging, LDPE
- Food waste
-Mixed waste
Recycled paper is sorted, handled and paid for directly by each tenant within the tenant's premises.
Other waste
Waste such as chemical and biological waste is sorted, handled and paid for directly by each tenant within the premises.
Fire
Fire protection work is carried out on an ongoing basis. Generally, the landlord is responsible for fire protection outside the premises and the tenant for fire protection inside the premises. This is regulated in the lease agreement.
It is important not to store, place or leave anything in the stairwell or in public areas that could pose a fire risk, make it difficult to access and clean, or be disruptive to the well-being of the occupants.
Fire evacuation alarm
Evacuation takes place via the respective stairwell. Each tenant is responsible for ensuring that there is an updated evacuation plan.
The building is equipped with an evacuation alarm in the event of a fire. In the event of smoke, smoke detectors trigger an evacuation alarm throughout the building and a signal to evacuate is given via a doorbell. If a fire is detected, call 112, as the evacuation alarm is not directly forwarded to the Rescue Services. Try to limit the fire source by closing windows and doors.
You can manually trigger the alarm yourself using push buttons in escape routes.
More information
Detailed information about the building regarding fire cells, evacuation/assembly points, security alarms RWC, ventilation & gas alarms is formulated and described in the rental agreement. Contact your contact person at Akademiska Hus or customer service if you have any questions.
Personal and elevator alarms
It is possible to send an emergency signal from elevators. When the push button is held down for more than 15 seconds, a signal sounds outside the door and an alarm is sent to Akademiska Hus. After regular working hours, the alarm is sent to on-call staff or security guards.
Alarms from elevators are reset by operating personnel.
Car parking
Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a disability permit are located close to the main entrance. Please see the Campus Map .
Entrances and elevators
The entrances are accessible and all floors can be reached via elevator.
RWC and rest room
Toilets adapted for the disabled are located on each floor. The RWC has security alarms with red push buttons marked "emergency signal". Alarms are reset inside the respective room by pressing the reset button.
The police training center meets the requirements for Miljöbyggnad silver. Miljöbyggnad is a certification system for creating environmentally sustainable buildings. It is based on Swedish building and authority regulations as well as Swedish construction practice. Environmental building is a certificate of important qualities of a building in terms of energy, indoor environment and materials and is used for newly produced and existing buildings regardless of size. In Environmental Construction, a building can achieve the bronze, silver or gold rating. Behind the certification stands the non-profit association Sweden Green Building Council (SGBC).
Being a tenant in a certified building means a responsibility in the use of the premises and the building to create the smallest possible environmental impact. In order for the property to be able to maintain the certification, it is important that you as a tenant know what applies. This house guide contains information about how the building works and tips on what you as a tenant can influence.
If you have questions, you are welcome to contact your administrator at Akademiska Hus.
Heat
To reduce energy use when heating the building, systems are used that convert heat from the sun, the building also has a thermostat that regulates that the temperature is kept at an even and optimal level.
To think about as a tenant
The radiators are set to, together with the ventilation, ensure a good climate in the rooms. It is therefore important not to add extra heat, it can destroy the system. Contact us if you experience discomfort.
Energy
The building is supplied for the most part with renewable energy, this in the form of solar energy, wind/hydropower and waste heat from industries.
Electrochromic glasses
The building's windows are so-called Electrochromic glass that reduces the use of cooling energy by blocking unwanted solar heat radiation before it enters the building, which keeps the premises cool and contributes to a pleasant indoor climate that is adapted to the season.
Solar heat loads
In order to determine that the solar radiation does not add an unwanted amount of heat during the warmer part of the year, sun screens are installed.
To think about as a tenant
As a tenant, it is important that the office is furnished according to what was specified when moving in. If the need for furniture changes, please contact us.
Moisture safety
The building has adequate protection against moisture, this through roof drainage and facade materials that ensure that moisture cannot penetrate into the property.
To think about as a tenant
If you, as a tenant, suspect or experience problems with infiltration or moisture, you must make a fault report to Akademiska Hus.
Sound
There may be disturbing sounds or sounds that can damage hearing. In teaching premises, there are requirements from the Swedish Work Environment Authority which noise levels must not be exceeded. When talking about teaching premises, the noise from installations etc should not exceed 35 dba, for offices it is 40 dba.
This is part of our work with sound in a building:
• Sound from installations
• Air sound insulation
• Step sound insulation
• Block out outside noise
The business's own sounds, such as from computers, printers, etc., are not taken into account. Sounds from installations can be heard if you listen for this, it is noticeable when the ventilation shuts off in the evenings.
To think about as a tenant
It is important that you file a bug report if you experience sound-related problems.
Light
A good lighting environment is important both for health and performance. Light is important for the regulation of circadian rhythm, sleep and wakefulness rhythm, mood regulation and activation. There are recommended guideline values for illuminance for general lighting and spot lighting for various premises/work functions. There are also requirements for access to daylight in homes and premises.
The building has presence-controlled lighting that is regulated in different ways depending on the function of the room, this also has a positive effect on the building's energy consumption.
To think about as a tenant
As a tenant, it is important that the office is furnished according to what was specified when moving in. If the need for furniture changes, please contact us.
