In the old annex to the Physiology Building (KBC-Physiology Building E), Akademiska Hus is planning to build a restaurant. Initially, it is intended to be used for evacuation while we rebuild Universum, but in the long term, the premises are intended to house a restaurant with lunch service.

At the time of writing we are still waiting for word from the building permit but builders will be on site in the house working on asbestos removal. Externally we will also carry out maintainance of the building's drainage.
In order for the builder to have space to handle their waste, part of the Fysiologen parking lot unfortunately needs to be closed. This affects 16 spaces and those affected can contact Upab to be referred to alternative spaces during the construction period. The parking lots affected are spaces 980-987 and 950-957 and they will be closed until the summer of 2027. Some spaces may be dedicated to the new premises.
An area around the building we are working on will be fenced off and this will affect the pedestrian and cycle path called Parallellvägen. Temporary signage will be in place. In the future, we plan to change how Parallellvägen is used. Traffic will be diverted to the public pedestrian and cycle path and parts of Parallellvägen will be converted into green space.
Deliveries to the Physiology building and along Linnaeus väg will be able to operate as usual.
