new emergency exits will be built on floors 3 and 4 of Odlingshuset KBC-Fysiologihuset.
Work will begin on Monday the 14th on floor 3. The new emergency exit will be at the climate chambers at the far end by the window to the east. The builder will start by making a temporary wall that will be tight so that when we make the hole in the outer wall, we can maintain the negative air pressure in the lab. After that, they will make the hole in the outer wall and install a new door. The work will mainly be carried out from the outside.
A week later, on monday the 21st, the same procedure will take place on floor 4 directly above.
The new emergancy exits can't be used until exterior stairs has been placed. That will be done after the removal of the scaffolding.
