Stockholm’s new campus celebrates grand opening

Albano is now officially unveiled in a grand ceremony. Strategically located a stone’s throw from the city centre, the area strengthens the links between Stockholm University and KTH – thereby promoting both the city and the region, as well as Sweden as a nation of knowledge.

Updated green bond framework

As part of our financial sustainability initiative, Akademiska Hus and Handelsbanken have formulated an updated framework for green bonds. It has now been expanded to include components of the EU Taxonomy criteria and creates opportunities for additional green financing.

Natrium is now complete

The new building gathers large parts of the Faculty of Science under one roof and promotes continued development of Medicinareberget. The project includes an investment of SEK 1.8 billion and is one of the largest initiatives that Akademiska Hus and the University of Gothenburg have carried out together.

Opening of new student housing in central Gothenburg

A total of 61 apartments with room for approximately 125 undergraduate and graduate students are now ready for occupancy in the Näckrosen area in Gothenburg. Akademiska Hus has converted a former office building into long-awaited campus-based housing in the middle of the city.

New Chairperson of the Board of Directors

Lena Erixon has been elected to serve as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Akademiska Hus. She has previously been Director-General of the Swedish Transport Administration and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.
