The change is part of the move Akademiska Hus is now making towards clearer priorities and an increased focus on the company's core delivery.
Cecilia Wide has been a member of Akademiska Hus' management for 13 years and has had a central role in developing the company's marketing and communication work and contributed strategically to Akademiska Hus' development and position as a long-term partner to Sweden's higher education institutions. Ulf Däversjö has been a member of the company's management for 11 years and has contributed strongly to Akademiska Hus' business development, digital transformation, innovation work and strategic moves.
"Cecilia and Ulf have for a long time contributed with great commitment, high competence and strong driving force in the development of Akademiska Hus. I would like to extend a big thank you to them for their efforts and for the impression they have made in the company," says Caroline Arehult, CEO of Akademiska Hus.
"The changed focus of the strategy also means that the mission going forward will be different. After many years in the company management and a strong development journey for marketing and communication work, it feels like the right time to hand over," says Cecilia Wide.
"We have made an important development journey in business development, digitalization and innovation. Now that the focus is to a greater extent on translating this into stable and robust delivery with continued development in digitalization, it is a natural opportunity to hand over to someone else to take the work further," says Ulf Däversjö.
The change will take place from Midsummer.
