Lighting
The building's lighting system is predominantly performed presence-controlled.
Active ignition and passive extinguishing in case of absence
Lighting in labs and workshops is switched on and off actively with push buttons/switches.
lighting is dimmable in some areas.
Some fixtures in escape routes are connected to uninterruptible power such as led/emergency lighting and
turns on automatically in the event of a power failure.
Classrooms
Classrooms strive to have an active ignition by pressing a button. Switching off may also require a button press, but if the lamp does not switch off, it is set to switch off when there is no one in the room. The switch-off takes place on absence, in some cases switch-off is required on the button with.

Room climate
The indoor climate is controlled automatically via the building's technical system. In the form of ventilation and radiator systems.
Ventilation
The ventilation normally runs during the day and evening. In all rooms, the air flow increases/decreases via temperature and air quality. In some cases, it is controlled with regard to presence in the room, so it can take a while before the climate is good in the room after being empty for a long time. In some rooms/premises there is a push button to force ventilation.
Keep in mind that:
A manual change of the temperature may take
up to one working day depending on the building
thermal inertia.
Keep in mind that:
An open window at extremely high outdoor temperatures makes it even more so
temperature rise occurs and there is a risk of dew precipitation on cold surfaces.
In Chalmers waste sorting furniture, you sort your waste into different fractions: combustible waste, paper packaging, plastic packaging, metal packaging, colored and uncolored glass packaging, non-combustible and food waste.
The source sorting furniture can be found in all Chalmers lunchrooms and in certain other areas. There are also about ten bins for source sorting set up outdoors on the Johanneberg campus.
