Information letter week 41-42 2025

Outdoor environmentWork on new lighting in the pine forest will begin in week 42. Excavation for electricity will be done first, and the actual installation will take place as soon as the deliveries have arrived. During the same period, debris clearance will also be underway behind the T pavilion towards the parking lot. At the crossing between the E-huset and Wibergsgården, a supplementary lighting pole will be installed. We will also straighten poles that are slanted around the campus area.House AInstallation of solar cells is underway on the A-house. The work is mainly done on the roof, but some installation is being done inside the building as cabling needs to be carried out from the basement level to the roof. A stair tower has been erected at the facade of the A-house, between the A-house and Teknikens Hus. When material deliveries are made, the area around the stair tower is blocked off to enable lifting of materials with a mobile crane. On October 6-7, lifting by crane will take place from Regnbågsallén, as well as Alfa innergård in the evening after 5:00 PM.ALFA HouseThe work of replacing ventilation units and other technical equipment in the ALFA building is in its final stages. The contract is almost complete and the final supplementary work is underway. The project will be completely finished during the month of October.House BetaOn Monday, October 6, NCC will troubleshoot a leak through the roof in the library area. A small scissor lift will be on site during the work. Work to reprogram the solar shading will also be carried out during the period.House BThe repair of the elevator in B10, the principal's corridor, will start on October 7. The work is being carried out by Schindler Elevator and Kone.House COn Monday, October 6 at 07:00, there will be a temporary water shut-off in connection with repairs to a water pipe. The work is expected to take approximately 15 minutes and during that time the entire house will be without water. A replacement of the desalination filter for the deionized water is also planned. During the replacement, the deionized water can be used as usual.House ENext to Building E, work will begin on new lighting in the indoor courtyards. The installation schedule depends on deliveries. Renovation of the eaves above E631 will be carried out during the period.Students' HouseIn the Studentenernas Hus, all windows in the staff canteen are adjusted. The awnings in the staff offices are also inspected and adjusted if necessary.The Pussen projectDuring week 41, a wooden deck and bridge are being built, while topsoil areas are being prepared for rolling out grass. Glulam is also being installed for the barbecue areas.Week 42, construction continues with barbecue areas, the grass is rolled out, railings are installed on the bridge and new lampposts are put in place.Preparatory work for the Pussen PavilionThe ground works are proceeding according to plan and are expected to be completed during week 41. After that, the foundation works will begin.

Groundworks begin next to the Pussen Pavilion

The ground works will continue during weeks 40 and 41 in connection with the Pussen Pavilion. After that, the next stage of foundation work will begin.
