Entries
The entrance, which is connected from the Glashuset to the Stables, is disabled-friendly and equipped with door automation and a card reader at a suitable height.

Elevator
The stables have a disabled-friendly lift with automatic doors, pressure panel, emergency signal and emergency stop. During transport, hold down the desired floor button.

WC
Toilet adapted for wheelchair users, RWC is at the entrance to the library. The RWC is equipped with:

• Security alarm
• Automatic lighting
• Reference sign at the door
• Folding armrests at the toilet seat
• The pull handles on the inside of the door

Security alarm
By pressing the red button, it is indicated locally with sound and a red flashing light outside the respective room. The alarm is reset by pressing the green button.

Akademiska hus is responsible for handling household waste and KMH and DIS for the other fractions. Tenants themselves are responsible for removing pallets and packaging.

On each floor, recycled paper is sorted locally and some source sorting takes place in the kitchenette and lunchroom.

The indoor climate is controlled automatically via the building's technical system. In the form of ventilation and radiator systems.

Ventilation
The ventilation normally runs during the day. In all rooms, the air flow increases/decreases via temperature and air quality. In some cases, it is controlled with regard to presence in the room, so it can take a while before the climate is good in the room after being empty for a long time.

Heat
The house has a water-borne heating system with radiators and can be regulated via a thermostat on the radiator.

Fire protection

• Buttons for the fire alarm are located on each floor and are used in the event of a fire being detected.
• Images of evacuation plans are available on all floors.
• An automatic fire and evacuation alarm is installed in the building (signal from bell sounds and flash lights on the outside of the building are lit).

SCARED - WARN - ALARM - EXTINGUISH

• Save yourself and others around you, but don't take too many risks yourself.
• Warn others who may be in danger.
• Alert the Rescue Service by calling 112.
• Extinguish the fire if possible.

Evacuation
If the fire alarm goes off, evacuate the house according to evacuation signs. Fire doors close automatically to prevent smoke from spreading. The existing lifts must not be used in the event of a fire alarm.

Gathering place for KMH is the large oak tree outside the main entrance.

Emergency alarm from elevators
In elevators, there is an alarm button that goes to the alarm center, even outside normal working hours. The elevators are equipped with emergency telephones that have voice communication capabilities 24 hours a day. Pressing the alarm button sounds a signal outside the elevator in the building.

Lighting
In order to save energy, the building's lighting system is predominantly performed presence-controlled. This causes the lighting to switch on and off automatically.

Fluorescent lamps are generally made with high-frequency devices (HF devices) that provide flicker-free lighting. Some fixtures in escape routes are connected to uninterruptible power such as led/emergency lighting and
turns on automatically in the event of a power failure.

Exterior lighting
Lighting in entrances, windbreaks and exterior lighting is switched on and off automatically via a centrally installed light relay in combination with a time function.

Classrooms
Classrooms strive to have an active ignition by pressing a button. Switching off may also require a button press, but if the lamp does not switch off, it is set to switch off when there is no one in the room.

The switch-off takes place on absence, in some cases switch-off is required on the button.
