The building was designed by Gunnar Forszén (1908-1966) and Artur von Schmalensee (1900-1972) in the mid-1950s. The house was built for the Norwegian Forest Research Institute.

Generally
The entrance doors are automatically locked after office hours. After that, the access card with the associated code is valid to be able to enter. The pass cards are issued by Stockholm University.

There is a toilet adapted for the disabled in the house.
Stockholm University's Local Service and Goods Reception provide instructions regarding waste management.
Akademiska Hus takes care of the emptying of bins/wasterooms with regard to household waste.
