The building was designed by the architect Charles Lindholm (1870-1955) in 1917 when the Forest Research Institute's laboratory moved in.
Akademiska Hus takes care of the emptying of bins/wasterooms with regard to household waste.

Generally
The entrance doors are automatically locked after office hours. After that, the access card with the associated code is valid to be able to enter. The pass cards are issued by Stockholm University.
