Grindstugan is located in Frescati Hage, which is about a 5-minute walk from Central Frescati. The house was built in 1916 and has been renovated with great care to preserve its historical value both exterior and interior. In the house there are two apartments that each have two rooms and are 69 square meters in size. Each apartment has a separate kitchen, living room, toilet and bedroom. In the immediate area, we find the popular swimming area Brunnsviken's beach.

The entrance doors are automatically locked after office hours. After that, the access card with the associated code is valid to be able to enter. The pass cards are issued by Stockholm University.
