At Akademiska Hus we work actively to ensure that our properties are safe and accessible during the winter months. In collaboration with our ground contractor Wiridis, we are responsible for both snow removal and anti-slip measures in the area.
This is how we work with snow removal:
- Snow removal begins when the snow depth reaches 30 mm. This also applies to snowbanks caused by wind or plowing that prevent access.
- Snow removal must be completed no later than 6 hours after the operation begins, provided that the snowfall has stopped.
- If necessary, we use manual shoveling for areas that cannot be cleared with machines.
- Anti-slip work begins immediately when the need arises and is completed as soon as possible, but no later than 4 hours after the need arises.
