The previous collaboration agreement with Uppsala University was signed in April 2019 and has led to several major investments in sustainability and given the parties many experiences that we are now taking into the new agreement.
"The agreement from 2019 gave rise to, among other things, new bicycle houses, an innovative electricity contract and a new renegotiation model for leases. It feels great to now have a new agreement in place that can take us even further," says Marie Löwling, Property Manager at Akademiska Hus.
Here are some of the key points from the new agreement:
- A strategy for sustainable mobility on campus will be developed.
- The parties will develop concrete measures to reduce climate impact.
- The outdoor environments on campus will be developed.
- It will be investigated how to create a meeting place for students, employees and the general public where ideas about the university's sustainability work can be captured and further developed.
